Coping
The best thing you can do to cope with skin ageing and sun damage is to protect your skin from the sun and its UV radiation. The second best thing is not to smoke. Other coping strategies include enduring lifestyle choices such as:
- Getting plenty of sleep.
- Avoiding stress and, when stressed, taking steps to reduce it.
- Eating a diet that is rich in antioxidants, especially as you grow older, as these accelerate the repare process and counter the effect of free radicals, which steadily increase with age.
- Making judicious use of anti-ageing skin products.
